- They pause, reason, and make choices they can explain.
- They start and finish work with less prompting and more ownership.
- Ideas flow more freely into words, drawings, or builds.
The Aavahan Difference
Why parents choose us over tuition or coaching
Thoughtful, whole-child work designed by a Teach For India alum and ex-Google founder who has led curriculum at LEAD School and researched SEL at TISS.

Whole-Child Inner & Cognitive Development
We grow the inner world and thinking world together—emotions, identity, habits, reasoning, creativity—so children feel safe inside and strong in how they learn.

Evidence-Based, Experience-Rich Pedagogy
Designed by Komal’s decade in education: Teach For India, curriculum leadership at LEAD School, and a Masters at TISS researching SEL in government schools.

Warm, Trust-Led, Founder-Driven Experience
You meet the founder, not a faceless brand. Expect honest conversations, careful observation, and a partner who treats your child like her own students.

How your child feels inside and responds to big emotions.
Thinking World
How your child thinks, reasons, and solves problems.
Learning World
How your child learns, focuses, and owns their work.

Meet Komal, the mind and heart behind Aavahan
Komal (Ramchandani) Kothari is a Teach For India alum, ex-Google account planner, curriculum leader at LEAD School, and a TISS researcher on SEL in government schools.
From Google to the classroom: Komal moved from data-driven work at Google to Teach For India, teaching Grades 6–7 in Dharavi. She led English curriculum development at LEAD School, trained teachers nationwide, and completed her Masters at TISS with a thesis on how SEL shifts children’s emotional wellbeing in government schools.
Parents know her for being methodical and warm: careful lesson design, clear frameworks, and a deep respect for every child’s inner world. She now builds Aavahan as a parent-focused, founder-led space where children feel seen and challenged.
“Every child deserves a space where their inner world, thinking, and creativity are taken seriously.”
